ABOUT DFI
Questions first. Evidence throughout.
A focused process that connects the purpose of the engagement with the work performed and the findings delivered.
01
Clarify what you need to establish.
We begin by understanding the facts or issues you need to resolve. Together, we identify relevant evidence sources, define the scope of the examination, and confirm responsibilities and practical requirements before collecting evidence.
02
Document the work.
Keep collection, examination and interpretation understandable. Explain exceptions and missing information rather than allowing them to disappear in the final report.
03
Report independently.
Distinguish facts from assumptions and opinion. The conclusion should follow the evidence, even where it does not resolve every question or support the original concern.
