Digital Forensics

Turn collected data into reviewable evidence.

Support a focused review through collection, processing, search and organized production under agreed instructions.

01

Agree the review objectives.

Define custodians, sources, date ranges and the questions driving the exercise. Search instructions work best when terminology, exclusions and the role of human review are discussed in advance.

02

Make searches understandable.

Document the agreed criteria and explain material limits such as unsupported files or sources that were not collected. A search result is a set for review, not automatically a legal relevance determination.

03

Prepare the delivery.

Confirm the required production format, naming, attachment handling and supporting information. Relevance, privilege and disclosure decisions remain with the instructed legal team unless a different role is expressly agreed.

RELEVANT SOURCES

Start with what is available.

Discuss the sources that can help answer the question, within an authorized scope.
